Overview
The ClariFruit mobile app integrates with Atago refractometers, enabling automatic transfer of sugar (Brix) and acidity measurements via NFC connection. This integration allows inspectors to take multiple measurements for both Brix and acidity, which are saved on the Atago device and can be transferred all at once, reducing manual data entry and improving efficiency.
How to Use
Basic Operation
- Begin your inspection in the ClariFruit app and proceed through each step until you reach the measurement step for Brix or acidity.
- Use your Atago refractometer to take as many Brix or acidity measurements as needed; the device will store each reading in its history.
- The app should automatically initiate the NFC connection.
If the connection does not start automatically, tap the NFC icon in the top-right corner to initiate it manually. - Hold your mobile device close to the Atago device to initiate the NFC connection.
- All saved Brix and acidity measurements will automatically transfer into the inspection, so you can proceed without entering each measurement manually.
Enabling Atago Integration
If the NFC icon isn’t visible in the measurement step:
- Ensure that NFC is enabled on your mobile device in the device settings.
- Return to the ClariFruit app's home screen.
- Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Go to the Devices section.
- Turn on the Atago NFC Bx/Acid/pH toggle.
Once this toggle is enabled, the NFC icon will appear in the Brix and acidity measurement steps during future inspections.
Benefits
