Enhanced User Management Roles
We are excited to announce the introduction of four new roles in user management: Lite, Standard, PRO, and Manager.
To explore these new roles, go to settings and navigate to the Users settings. Here, you will find the four new roles available for users with purchased licenses.
When creating a new user, you will now have the option to select one of these roles.
All roles include access to both the mobile app and the dashboard. Here’s a breakdown of the capabilities for each role:
-
Lite:
- Dashboard: View, edit, approve, and delete inspections.
- Mobile App: View inspections only.
-
Standard:
- Dashboard: View, edit, approve, and delete inspections.
- Mobile App: Create new inspections.
-
PRO:
- Dashboard: View, edit, approve, and delete inspections.
- Mobile App: Create new inspections and utilize Computer Vision technology.
-
Manager:
- Dashboard: View, edit, approve, and delete inspections, and build specs and settings.
- Mobile App: Create new inspections and utilize Computer Vision technology.
How Will This Affect You?
- Previous Mobile Access Users: If you were using Lite, Standard, or Computer Vision roles, you will be automatically converted to the new corresponding roles. This upgrade grants you additional access to the dashboard, allowing you to view reports, edit, and approve inspections.
- Previous Platform Configuration Users: You’ll be transitioned to the Manager role, maintaining all your previous authorizations. Plus, you’ll now have mobile app access, just like PRO users.
- Previous Dashboard Users: Users who had separate roles for mobile and dashboard access are now aligned with the new roles. All platform authorizations are now included within the Lite, Standard, and PRO roles. If you had only platform access before, you’ve been converted to a Lite user.
What Do You Need to Do?
Head over to Settings > Users to ensure everything is set up as expected. If any roles need adjusting, simply click on the relevant user row and make the necessary changes. Remember, each user can now have only one role. If you notice two roles assigned to a single user, unselect the unnecessary one.
We’re confident these updates will provide you with more flexibility and control over your user management. Explore these new roles today and see how they can enhance your workflow!
